PicMed delivers the four programs a modern workforce actually uses — onsite flu clinics, biometric screening, health risk assessment, and aggregate benefits reporting — under one contract, one project manager, and one HIPAA-compliant reporting portal.

Why benefits teams consolidate wellness with a single vendor
The average midsize employer runs wellness through three to five separate vendors — one for flu shots, another for biometric screenings, a third for the HRA, a benefits platform for reporting, and often a broker-led wellness portal on top of that. Every handoff between those vendors is a place participation data gets lost, reporting misaligns, and employees see a fragmented experience that suppresses engagement.
PicMed exists to collapse that stack. One project manager scopes and delivers your entire onsite program. One W-2 clinical team runs every event in every state. One HIPAA-compliant portal (MyPicMed) is where employees see results and benefits teams see aggregate participation. That structural simplicity is what lets our clients run higher-participation programs at lower total cost than the multi-vendor model.
The four programs, and how they fit together
Each service is a standalone offering — you can start with one and add others in subsequent seasons. The value compounds when they run together.
Onsite flu shot clinics
Nationwide seasonal influenza vaccination. RN and LPN clinicians administer standard quadrivalent, high-dose (for adults 65+), preservative-free, or cell-based vaccines. Direct employer invoicing, health-plan insurance filing, or hybrid billing. Pharmacy vouchers cover remote and hybrid employees who miss the onsite event.
Onsite biometric screening
Fingerstick or venipuncture biometric events covering height, weight, BMI, waist circumference, resting blood pressure, and a lipid + glucose panel. HbA1c, hs-CRP, and cotinine available. Results flow into the participant’s HRA and roll up into aggregate dashboards. CLIA-waived point-of-care testing for fingerstick components; CLIA-certified reference labs for all venipuncture.
Health risk assessment for employers
A validated HRA instrument that combines biometric numbers with lifestyle, family history, mental health, and preventive-care completion data. Produces a personalized report for the employee and a population-level risk view for the benefits team. Fully HIPAA, ADA, and GINA compliant.
Workplace health screenings — the umbrella
The full program view — biometrics plus HRA plus optional advanced lab panels — delivered onsite, offsite at a patient service center, or via at-home fingerstick kit. This is where most benefits teams start scoping.
The reporting layer: MyPicMed portal
Every service reports through the same HIPAA-compliant portal. Employees see their own results. Benefits and wellness teams see aggregate participation, risk stratification, and incentive completion — never individual PHI. Data feeds push to your benefits admin, payroll, or wellness platform on the schedule you set.
The wellness week — our most requested design
The single most common program shape we deliver is a combined “wellness week” — flu shots, biometric screening, and HRA completion in one onsite visit per site.
Why clients ask for it
- Employees show up once, not three times
- Participation lifts 15–25% versus running each service separately
- One communications calendar, one incentive event, one dashboard
- The compressed footprint reduces total nurse-time per employee, which reduces cost per participant
Typical wellness week flow, per employee
- Check-in and consent verification (2 min)
- Vitals station — height, weight, BMI, waist, resting BP (3 min)
- Blood collection — fingerstick or venipuncture (5–7 min)
- Flu vaccination (2 min)
- HRA completion at kiosk or via personal device (5–10 min)
- Immediate results counseling for fingerstick participants (3–5 min)
Total: 20–30 minutes per employee, delivered in a single visit. For a 300-employee site, a full wellness week runs across two to three days with 2–4 clinicians on the floor.
How PicMed is structured to deliver at national scale
W-2 clinical staff, not 1099 contractors. Every RN and LPN on your event is a PicMed employee — same clinical SOPs, same background checks, same professional liability coverage in Tulsa as in Trenton. Marketplace-contracted nurse networks are the primary source of clinical variability in this industry; we removed that variable at the org-chart level.
Regional nurse density. Our clinician network is organized by region rather than by ZIP code auction. That structure is what lets us deliver nationwide coverage in all 50 states and compress standard 6- to 8-week timelines to 2–3 weeks when a program was delayed or a competing vendor fell through.
One project manager per client. The person who scopes your program is the same person who signs off on your wrap-up report. No pass-off between sales, ops, and clinical. If your program manager is on the phone during an event day, you are talking to the person with authority to change something on the spot.
Aggregate reporting benefits teams can actually hand to their broker. MyPicMed is a live dashboard, not a PDF export. Filter by site, department, shift, or program year. The data feed to your broker is the same feed you see.
Compliance framework
Every PicMed program operates under the same compliance stack, regardless of which services you use.
- HIPAA — PHI encrypted in transit and at rest, role-based access, BAAs with every subprocessor
- ADA — voluntary participation, reasonable accommodations, no coverage decisions from screening results
- GINA — no genetic or family-history data collected outside voluntary HRA sections
- EEOC wellness rules — incentive designs reviewed against current guidance; we flag structures that raise risk
- CLIA — waived point-of-care instruments for fingerstick components; CLIA-certified reference labs for venipuncture
- CDC ACIP — influenza vaccine recommendations, storage, and administration standards
- OSHA — sharps handling, PPE, and post-exposure protocols on every event
- State pharmacy boards — nurse practice-act compliance in every state we serve
Who we work with
Employers Corporate, professional services, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare systems, long-term care, K–12 districts, colleges, universities, municipalities, public agencies, and transit operators. Single-site and multi-site programs (up to 500+ locations).
Benefits brokers and TPAs Co-branded and white-label wellness programs delivered under your brand. We become the clinical delivery layer under your existing broker relationship, with aggregate reporting you can present to your clients as your own.
Wellness platforms Aggregate and de-identified data feeds delivered on schedule to the platforms your clients already use — with a documented BAA in place.
Program timeline
Our standard planning window is 6–8 weeks for any new program. That timeline covers scoping, clinical planning, site walkthroughs, employee registration, event delivery, and wrap-up reporting.
Programs that need to run faster can be compressed to 2–3 weeks — this is where our regional nurse density and W-2 clinical structure become measurable. We do not need to run a nurse marketplace auction to fill your event; we assign from our existing regional network.
Multi-year programs get a locked calendar with year-over-year trend reporting in MyPicMed.
Why employers switch to PicMed
- One vendor, one project manager, one reporting portal
- W-2 clinical staff in every state
- Wellness-week combined events as standard, not upsell
- Compressed 2–3 week delivery available
- Aggregate reporting benefits teams can actually use
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to use every service to work with PicMed? No. Most clients start with a single program — usually onsite flu clinics or biometric screening — and add services in subsequent years. Every service is a standalone offering.
How is a bundled program priced versus separate services? Combined wellness weeks are priced with a lower per-participant total than the sum of the same services delivered separately, because the clinical footprint is more efficient. Request a quote for site-specific pricing.
Can you run our existing wellness platform’s HRA instead of yours? Yes. We integrate with the major wellness platforms and can push biometric numbers into their HRA on a documented data feed.
How do you handle remote and hybrid employees? Every program includes options for distributed workers — pharmacy vouchers for flu shots, patient service center appointments or shipped at-home kits for biometric screening, and online HRA completion from any device.
What is the minimum group size for an onsite event? no minimum for a dedicated onsite event. Smaller groups are best served by voucher, PSC, or at-home options — priced the same per shot or per screening.
How far in advance do we need to book? Our standard planning window is 6 to 8 weeks. We routinely deliver in 2 to 3 weeks for late requests.
Can you serve as a broker-branded or white-label wellness vendor? Yes. Co-branded and fully white-labeled programs are common. Brokers keep the client relationship; PicMed becomes the clinical delivery and reporting layer under your brand.
How is data reported to us? Aggregate participation, risk stratification, and incentive completion through the MyPicMed portal. No individual PHI ever crosses to benefits teams. Data feeds push to your benefits admin, payroll, or wellness platform on the schedule you set.
