Why PicMed — Corporate Wellness Done Right

PicMed is different because we run our own onsite programs with W-2 clinical staff and a national partner network we manage directly — not a directory of contractors. We work with employers of every size (Fortune 50 to fewer than 10 employees), meet you where your workforce actually is, and back the whole program with the MyPicMed HIPAA-compliant reporting platform.

What makes PicMed different

We don’t outsource our clinical work

Many corporate wellness “providers” are really booking agents who forward your event to whichever local staffing agency picks up the phone. PicMed operates its own clinical operation. Our RNs, LPNs, and phlebotomists are directly employed or contracted PicMed staff, and every onsite event is managed by PicMed program coordinators from planning through post-event reporting. That’s how we hold quality, compliance, and participant experience consistent across every site.

No minimum-participation gate

PicMed does not enforce a rigid minimum-population floor. Program logistics and pricing scale with location count, remoteness, and screening scope — so a small back-office team, a rural manufacturing site, and a Fortune 50 population all get a scoped program instead of a “not big enough for us” reply. In practice, PicMed has run programs for workforces from fewer than 10 employees up to Fortune 50 populations.

Current tests and equipment, not decade-old kits

Disease and health-risk indicators evolve, and screening equipment evolves with them. PicMed refreshes point-of-care devices, lab kits, and test panels regularly, so the biometric snapshot your program returns reflects current clinical guidance rather than what a vendor happened to stock in 2015.

Employers see measurable results

PicMed corporate wellness clients typically see:

  • A reduction in the average number of health risk factors across the population year over year.
  • An improvement in average health scores from repeat participants.
  • Lower absenteeism and sick-day use, per employer HR reporting.
  • Reduced participant health-care spend when spend is tracked through claims data (where available).

Results are based on aggregated employer program data and vary by program design, participation, and follow-through. PicMed reports program-level results only; individual employee data is never shared with employers.

Scalable wellness solutions, one clinical partner

PicMed can deliver a full corporate wellness program under one contract, one reporting portal, and one clinical operation. Employers pick the modules they need; PicMed coordinates the rest.

Program element What it looks like
Onsite flu shots RN/LPN-administered flu clinics at your worksite — nationwide flu program.
Biometric screenings Lipid, glucose, BP, BMI, waist plus add-ons (A1c, cotinine, PSA, TSH) — biometric program.
Immunizations & vaccinations Flu, Tdap, MMR, hepatitis, TB, and other clinically indicated vaccines onsite where permitted.
Health risk assessments (HRA) Employee-completed HRAs stored in the MyPicMed portal, feeding aggregate reporting and incentive design.
Incentive tracking Participation and completion tracked through MyPicMed for benefits-team incentive rules.
High-risk follow-up Structured guidance for participants flagged with the highest clinical risk factors, with next-step direction.
Wellness coaching Behavior-change coaching for participants who want structured follow-up on identified risks.
Tobacco cessation programs Structured cessation support integrated with cotinine testing when relevant to the program design.
Data analysis & benefits review Aggregate-population reporting and optional health-benefits analysis for the benefits team.
MyPicMed portal HIPAA-compliant employee results, employer-facing aggregate reporting, HRA integration.

Four ways PicMed can reach your workforce

Every workforce is different. PicMed uses four delivery methods, alone or combined, so participation isn’t limited by where an employee happens to be.

  1. Onsite events — PicMed clinical staff run the clinic at your worksite. Best participation rate; ideal for scheduled worksites and multi-site rollouts.
  2. National clinic partner network — For employees not near an onsite event, PicMed can route them to a nearby partner clinic without breaking the program’s reporting or eligibility rules.
  3. Lab partner referral — Employees can complete screening at a national lab (LabCorp, Quest) via a program-issued form or voucher, with results flowing back into MyPicMed for the employer’s aggregate reporting.
  4. Take-home kits — Where clinically appropriate and program-scoped, at-home collection kits can complete coverage for fully remote employees or shift workers.

Employers usually combine two or more of these methods so a single, distributed workforce still reports as one program.

The MyPicMed platform

Every PicMed program runs through MyPicMed, our HIPAA-compliant reporting and participant portal.

Employer dashboard

  • Live registration and participation counts, per event and per site.
  • Aggregate-population reporting (never individual clinical data unless the employee has separately authorized release).
  • Event calendar with location, time, contact details, and status.
  • Downloadable participation reports for benefits, HR, and finance sign-off.

Employee portal

  • Secure onboarding with biodata capture (height, weight, DOB, gender, relevant medical context).
  • Health risk assessment (HRA) in a stepped format so employees can complete over multiple sessions.
  • Secure delivery of individual screening results and vaccination records.
  • Guided next steps based on the program’s clinical follow-up rules.

Program lead times — how fast can we run?

PicMed programs run best with a 6–8 week planning window, and that is what we recommend when the calendar allows. Because PicMed maintains a large national network of RNs, LPNs, and clinical partners we manage directly, we can also stand up a program in as little as 2–3 weeks for late-planned or urgent events. Talk to our team about your target date — either window is workable.

See the full week-by-week program timeline on the flu program page, or the biometric program lead-time detail.

Nationwide reach, one clinical operation

PicMed coordinates onsite events across all 50 U.S. states through a network of directly managed clinical staff and partner clinics. Local city pages are published for Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Phoenix, Fayetteville / Northwest Arkansas, Little Rock, and Kansas City Metro (MO & KS). Every other metro is coordinated through the same clinical network — ask us about your city.

Frequently asked questions

Does PicMed have a minimum number of employees to run a program?

No hard minimum. Program logistics and pricing scale with participation, location count, and screening scope. PicMed has run programs for workforces from fewer than 10 employees up to Fortune 50 populations.

How is PicMed different from a booking agency or a benefits broker’s wellness partner?

PicMed runs its own clinical operation. RNs and LPNs are direct PicMed staff or PicMed-managed contractors, program coordination is done by PicMed team members, and MyPicMed reporting is our own platform. We are not routing your event to a directory of local staffing agencies.

What data does the employer receive from a PicMed program?

Employers receive aggregate-population reporting only — participation counts, program-level completion rates, and de-identified aggregate biometric or risk-factor summaries. Individual clinical results are shared with the participating employee through MyPicMed. Individual data is shared with the employer only when the employee has separately authorized release through the program’s consent workflow.

Can PicMed cover employees who work remotely or off-shift?

Yes. PicMed layers onsite events with the national clinic partner network, national lab referrals, and take-home kits (where clinically appropriate) so distributed and shift-based workforces still complete under one program with one reporting flow.

How quickly can we launch?

6–8 weeks is recommended. 2–3 weeks is feasible for late-planned or urgent programs because PicMed manages a large national clinical network directly. Call (844) 474-2633 to discuss your target date.
